Through these interventions and promotion of self-care, we use lifestyle change as an essential treatment intervention by reconnecting the mind, body, and spirit to treat chronic conditions including, osteoarthritis, tendinopathies, spinal conditions, myofascial pain, obesity and deconditioning syndromes.
This is accomplished by applying the six pillars of lifestyle medicine—a whole-food, plant-predominant eating pattern, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances and positive social connections. We collaborate with patients to promote physical activity change, healthy aging and identify resources for sustainable behavior change.
